I didn't know Toyota made hand sanitizer dispenser stands.

They weren't planning on selling them at first.

Really? Then, why did they make them?

People at Toyota's plants began making the stands because they wanted to protect colleagues, as part of the “you-centered” focus.

So, that's how it started!

Commercialization only started after President Toyoda suggested, “Why not offer them to the public if they can be produced at an affordable cost?”

It's great to see monozukuri (manufacturing) skills being put to such good use.

It's a creation based entirely on the concept of taking action “for someone other than yourself.”

The name, “Shodoku Taishi”, is really funny.

The people at the plants thought up the name, too, apparently!

They really do everything on their own, don't they?

Using monozukuri skills to help the world. Producing happiness for all, and not just with cars!
